Modon Holding came to Codeeo with a clear brief. The site has to hold the attention of investors and residents at the same time.
About the client
Modon Holding is an Abu Dhabi company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, building master planned communities and destinations. Its developments include Hudayriyat Island, a community of around 3,000 hectares south of the city centre, and it owns ADNEC, the venue group behind ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and ExCeL London.
A company of that shape has an unusually wide audience: buyers and tenants, institutional investors reading the disclosures, government partners, contractors and the press.
What they needed
A listed developer cannot present itself the way a private one can. Every claim on the site has to match what has been disclosed, and the investor material has to be findable without hunting.
At the same time the communities have to be shown properly, because a family choosing a home and an analyst reading a results announcement arrive at the same domain from very different directions.
What we built
A corporate website that separates the two jobs cleanly. The developments are presented visually, with the space a master plan needs, while the corporate and investor material sits in its own structure with a consistent format for announcements.
The page templates were built so that a new community or a new announcement slots into an existing pattern rather than becoming a bespoke page each time, which is what keeps a large corporate site consistent two years after launch.
Performance was treated as a requirement. Large imagery is the point of a developer's website, so the pages were built to carry it without making a visitor on a phone wait for it.
How we worked
We agreed the content structure with the company before the design, so the site could hold both audiences without one intruding on the other.
Wording that touches disclosures stayed with the company. Our job was to make it findable and readable, not to rewrite it.
Everything is registered to Modon, and the templates are documented so the site can grow with the portfolio.
