Jewellery apps built for Saudi gold rules, payments and nationwide branches.

Codeeo provides jewellery app development in Saudi Arabia for retailers, manufacturers and wholesalers who sell gold, diamonds and precious stones across the Kingdom. We build Arabic first iOS and Android apps whose product data follows Ministry of Commerce rules on karat, weight and hallmarks, whose invoices meet ZATCA e-invoicing requirements, and whose payments run on mada, Apple Pay and STC Bank. One app can serve branches in Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province and the Holy Cities without becoming four separate products.

The Saudi jewellery trade is regulated more closely than most retail categories, and customers expect precision about what they are buying. An app that gets the rules and the product data right from the start is easier to scale, easier to audit and easier for customers to trust.

Nationwide capabilities

What a Saudi jewellery app has to get right.

The Law of Precious Metals and Gemstones and its executive regulations, enforced by the Ministry of Commerce, shape how jewellery is described, marked and sold in the Kingdom. Ministry guidance says items offered for sale must carry the Kingdom's hallmark or a registered trademark, and that advertisements must state the type, weight, fineness and price. A product page in an app is an advertisement, so those rules shape the data model before any screen is designed.

Trademarks used in place of the hallmark must be registered with the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, and manufacturing requires an industrial licence. None of this is the app's job to enforce, but the app should make the information easy to record and easy to show.

On top of that sit national systems every Saudi app must work with: ZATCA's Fatoora e-invoicing, the Personal Data Protection Law overseen by SDAIA, the NCA's cybersecurity controls, and payment rails regulated by SAMA. The capabilities below cover what a retailer selling across several regions usually needs, and we choose your first release from them.

Explain your project
  • Compliant product records

Every listing carries type, karat, weight, fineness and price, plus hallmark or trademark details and identification for gemstone pieces. Mandatory fields cannot be skipped in the admin panel, so a busy merchandiser cannot publish a ring that would fail a Ministry of Commerce inspection.

Listings that meet the rules by design.

  • ZATCA e-invoicing

Online orders generate electronic invoices in the format ZATCA requires, either through your existing point of sale or through an integration we build to the Fatoora platform. VAT treatment differs between finished jewellery and qualifying investment gold, so we configure tax rules with your accountant rather than guessing.

Every app sale is invoiced correctly.

  • National payment methods

mada, Apple Pay, STC Bank and major cards through a SAMA licensed payment gateway, plus SADAD where your customers prefer bill payment for larger orders. How plain gold is settled also raises Sharia questions, so payment options per category are confirmed with your advisor before we build them.

Customers pay the way they already pay everywhere else.

  • Multi region stock and pricing

Stock by branch across Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, Dammam and beyond, with a single daily gold rate applied nationwide or adjusted by region if you price that way. Customers see what is available near them; head office sees everything.

One catalogue, many branches, no conflicting prices.

  • Verified identity for high value orders

For large orders, company accounts or account changes, the app can verify Saudi users through Nafath, the national single sign on, where your business and use case qualify. Lower value purchases stay quick, with phone number verification only.

Stronger checks only where the order justifies them.

  • Insured nationwide shipping

Orders to cities without a branch go by insured courier, with signature on delivery and tracking inside the app. Shipping rules handle weight, value limits and regions you choose not to serve, and the customer sees delivery terms before paying.

Customers anywhere in the Kingdom can buy from you.

  • Wholesale and trade ordering

Manufacturers and wholesalers can give approved retailers a separate trade section, with trade pricing by weight, minimum order rules, order history and statements. Retail customers never see it, and your sales team approves each new trade account.

Retail and B2B sales in one system.

  • Sales staff product knowledge

Saudisation rules for jewellery sales roles mean many showrooms are training new Saudi consultants. A staff app with product details, stone guides, care advice and each customer's history helps a newer consultant answer questions with confidence on the shop floor.

New consultants sell with the knowledge of experienced ones.

  • National campaigns and loyalty

Collections and offers for Ramadan, Eid, Founding Day and Saudi National Day scheduled from one admin panel, targeted by region, branch or loyalty tier. Points and tiers work the same in every city, so a customer who moves from Riyadh to Jeddah keeps their history.

Campaigns run once, nationwide, with local control.

  • Head office reporting

Dashboards compare regions and branches on viewings, reservations, conversions, average order and the products customers save most. Data exports feed your finance and buying teams, so merchandising decisions follow demand across the Kingdom rather than one region's habits.

Buying and staffing decisions backed by real usage.

Who we work with

Four kinds of Saudi jewellery business we build for.

Jewellery businesses in Saudi Arabia range from family workshops supplying the souqs to national chains with showrooms in every major city. The structure of the business decides the app. Codeeo has delivered 200+ projects across the UAE and the US, and has a team of 80+ across Dubai, Riyadh and Karachi; for nationwide clients, our Riyadh team handles in person sessions, while reviews with regional branches run by video call.

01

National retail chains

You run showrooms in several regions and want one app, one catalogue and one loyalty programme. The hard parts are stock across many branches, regional pricing decisions and consistent compliance. We plan the data model and integrations for the whole network first, then roll out region by region, starting where your team and stock data are strongest. That way problems are found in one region and fixed before others join. Branch managers get only the permissions their role needs.

Roll out by region; plan for all of them from day one.

02

Manufacturers and wholesalers

You make or import jewellery and supply retailers across the Kingdom, perhaps alongside a retail brand of your own. A trade app with approved accounts, weight based trade pricing, order history and statements replaces phone orders and paper catalogues. A retail section can sit alongside it, sharing product data but keeping prices and customers apart. Manufacturing licences and hallmark records stay visible to your compliance team in the admin panel.

03

Online first jewellery brands

You sell mainly through social media and messaging today and want an owned channel. Your app needs strong product presentation, reliable checkout with national payment methods, insured delivery anywhere in the Kingdom and correct invoicing from the first order. We help you choose which categories sell online and which need a viewing or a pop up appointment first, and we build analytics in so you know which campaigns actually produce orders. Messaging stays part of the experience, but orders and customer records move into a system you own.

04

Regional groups expanding nationally

You are strong in one city, perhaps Jeddah or Dammam, and opening in others. The app you build now should not need replacing when you open the next branch. We design branch, region and staff structures that grow with you, and keep your existing customers' records and loyalty intact as you expand. A new region becomes a configuration task, not a rebuild.

Build for the network you plan, launch with the one you have.

Six phases for a nationwide jewellery app.

  1. 01Discovery and compliance reviewYour regions, branches, systems and sales channels mapped in Riyadh workshops and regional video calls, alongside the Ministry of Commerce, ZATCA and PDPL requirements that apply to how you sell.
  2. 02National data modelProduct, karat, weight, hallmark, gemstone, stock and pricing structures defined once, so every region uses the same clean data.
  3. 03Arabic first designRight to left interfaces with a full English version, designed around product photography and tested with customers from more than one region.
  4. 04Build and integrationCustomer app, staff app and admin panel built with your ERP, point of sale, payment gateway, Fatoora and courier integrations.
  5. 05First region launchRelease in your strongest region first, with staff training and close monitoring, before the wider rollout begins.
  6. 06National rolloutFurther regions join in an agreed order, followed by releases driven by usage data, regulatory updates and the national retail calendar.

Technology

What we build this with.

Jewellery mobile app development in Saudi Arabia works best on a stack chosen around your ERP and point of sale. We usually recommend a cross platform framework for iOS and Android, cloud hosting in a location your legal advisor approves under PDPL, and NCA aligned security controls from the start. Integrations with your ERP and Fatoora are built with logging and retries, so an invoice is never silently lost.

Questions Saudi jewellery businesses ask us.

The rules on product description, invoicing and data are specific to the Kingdom.

Saudi jewellery listings must reflect Ministry of Commerce requirements on type, weight, fineness, hallmark and price. Every sale needs a ZATCA compliant e-invoice. Customer data falls under the PDPL. Payments run on mada and other SAMA regulated rails, and customers expect Arabic first design. An app built for another market usually needs real rework on all five before it fits. The buying culture differs too: high value purchases are often family decisions, and the app should make sharing and consulting easy.
