Sports apps built for Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran as one sporting city.

Our sports app development Dammam service is for clubs, academies, league organisers and venue owners across the Eastern Province metro. We build apps that book halls and pitches across Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran, register players for handball, volleyball, basketball and football programmes, run inter company and community leagues, and give local clubs a direct channel to their supporters, in Arabic and English, with mada and Apple Pay at checkout.

Few people here think of Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran as separate places when they plan a game. Players cross between them daily, many work rotating shifts in energy and industry, and expat families on residential compounds play alongside Saudi clubs with long histories. A useful app reflects all of that.

Core features

What we put into sports apps for the Eastern Province.

The Dammam metro has a sporting mix you do not find everywhere in the Kingdom. Indoor team sports such as handball, volleyball and basketball have deep roots in Eastern Province clubs, football is followed through Al Ettifaq in Dammam and Al Qadsiah in Khobar, and large employers run their own internal leagues. On top of that sits a growing number of private padel courts, football pitches and youth academies, plus beach activity along the Khobar Corniche and at Half Moon Bay.

Each of those brings its own scheduling problems. Shift workers cannot commit to the same evening every week. Compound residents want activities open to their own community first. Clubs running several sports need one membership that spans them. The features below are the ones we design for most often in the Eastern Province, and discovery decides which belong in your first release.

Explain your project
  • Shift friendly booking

Players on rotating shifts can mark their rota pattern once, and the app shows only the sessions and league slots they can actually make. Recurring bookings follow the rota instead of a fixed weekday, and a swap tool lets a teammate take over a slot when a shift changes at short notice. Managers can see in advance which weeks are likely to be thin because a large crew is on nights.

Fewer forfeits and empty courts caused by shift changes.

  • Tri city venue search

One search across your halls and pitches in Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran, filtered by sport, surface and time. Customers see drive time from where they are, so a player finishing work in Dhahran can find a free court on the way home rather than across town. Visitors coming across the King Fahd Causeway from Bahrain for a weekend game can book the same way.

Bookings follow where players actually are at the end of the day.

  • Multi sport club membership

A single member profile covering handball, volleyball, basketball, football or swimming sections of the same club, with separate squads, coaches and fees for each. Families see every child's sports in one place, and the club office sees section numbers without merging spreadsheets.

One club, one membership, every section in view.

  • Company and inter company leagues

For employers and organisers running leagues among staff or between companies: team registration by employer, eligibility checks against a staff list, fixtures across shared venues, results and tables. HR or social committees get attendance reports to justify their sports budgets. Trophies, fair play awards and season archives are kept for the next year.

Workplace leagues run themselves instead of running the organiser.

  • Compound and community access

Residential compounds and community groups can open bookings to their own residents first, then release spare slots to outside players. Access rules, guest passes and resident verification are handled in the admin panel, not by a guard with a printed list.

Residents get priority and spare capacity still earns.

  • Youth academy pathways

Age group registration, trials, training attendance, skills assessments recorded by coaches, and the route from academy squad to club team. Parents receive schedule changes and term reports, and the club sees which players are ready to move up. Coaches can attach short training videos for players to watch at home.

Talent is tracked from first session to first team.

  • Fan engagement for local clubs

Fixtures, results, news, polls and a member card for supporters of Eastern Province clubs, with ticket sales and QR entry for home matches. Push alerts go out for kick off, goals and ticket windows, in Arabic and English.

Supporters follow the club through the club's own channel.

  • Beach and corniche events

Beach volleyball, open water swims, runs along the Khobar Corniche and family sports days at Half Moon Bay all need sign up, capacity limits, start waves and a way to reach everyone if the weather changes. Organisers publish the event, sell places, issue bib numbers and send updates on the morning itself.

Outdoor events fill up and run on time with one tool.

  • Saudi payments and invoicing

mada, Apple Pay, STC Bank and cards through a licensed Saudi gateway, plus invoice billing for companies that pay for their staff league teams. Invoices are generated in line with your ZATCA e-invoicing setup, and company accounts can settle monthly.

Individuals pay on the phone, companies pay by invoice.

  • Management console

Hall and pitch occupancy by hour, section membership trends, league fees outstanding, academy attendance and fan sign ups, split by Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran sites. Exports go straight to your finance team.

Managers see the whole operation from one screen.

Who we build for

Four Eastern Province sports operators we fit well with.

Our strongest fit in the Dammam area is an operator whose sport has rules or rhythms that generic booking tools ignore: shift patterns, multi sport memberships, company billing or resident priority. These four come up most. If you run a gym or fitness studio, that is covered on a separate page; this one is about team sport, venues and the communities around them. Most clients recognise themselves in one of the four, and some in two.

01

Clubs with several sports sections

Many Eastern Province clubs run handball, volleyball and basketball alongside football, each with its own coaches, squads and parents. An app that treats the club as one organisation with several sections, rather than several separate apps, saves the office a great deal of duplicate work and gives the club a single place to speak to members and supporters. Section heads keep control of their own squads and schedules.

We map each section's process before merging anything.

02

Employers and league organisers

Industrial and energy employers in the region often support staff sport, and private organisers run leagues between companies. Both need registration, eligibility, fixtures, referees and fair scheduling for people on shifts. A league app with company accounts and invoice billing replaces the email chains and keeps the organiser's evenings free. Results and photos can be shared to internal company channels after each round.

Eligibility rules are set by you and checked automatically.

03

Hall and pitch operators across the metro

If you run indoor halls, padel courts or football pitches in more than one of Dammam, Khobar and Dhahran, customers expect one account and one wallet everywhere. We build booking with live availability, peak pricing, recurring team slots and shift friendly options, with reports split by site so each venue manager sees their own numbers.

Shift friendly recurring slots usually come in the first release.

04

Compounds and community sports committees

Residential compounds and community groups run tennis ladders, football nights, swim squads and family sports days. A private app with resident verification, guest passes, event sign ups and committee announcements replaces notice boards and group chats, and lets the committee open spare capacity to outsiders on its own terms.

Resident data stays with the compound, not with the app vendor.

Six stages from discovery to a working Dammam sports app.

  1. 01Video discovery sessionsWe talk with your managers, coaches and desk staff over video, review your current forms, rotas and price lists, and agree what the first release must solve.
  2. 02Rules and rolesShift patterns, eligibility, resident priority, section fees and refund rules are written down and agreed, because these rules drive most of the build.
  3. 03Bilingual prototypeA clickable Arabic and English prototype is shared for your staff and a few players to try on their phones before any code is written.
  4. 04Development with demosWe build in short cycles and demo each one by video, with test builds installed on your team's phones to try at the venue.
  5. 05Pilot with one section or siteOne club section, league or venue goes live first. Feedback from real players shapes fixes before the rest of the metro follows.
  6. 06Expand and maintainNew sections, venues and fan features are added in planned releases, with support and monitoring kept in place between them.

Technology

What we build this with.

We build cross platform apps for iOS and Android with a web admin console and cloud hosting, agreeing data location with you at the start. Integrations with HR staff lists, access gates or accounting are documented so your own team can maintain them. Live scores use push messages that keep up during busy match nights.

Questions Dammam clubs and venues ask before they commit.

With the section that causes the most admin today.

For most clubs that is the youth section, where registration, fees and parent communication pile up. We build the shared member profile and payments first, launch with one section, then add the others on the same base. Starting this way gives the club a working app quickly and avoids trying to agree every section's rules in a single round. Sections that join later inherit the same payments, notifications and reports.

Tell us what the business needs. We will tell you what to build first.
