Sports apps for clubs, academies and venue networks across Saudi Arabia.

Codeeo provides sports app development Saudi Arabia operators can roll out from one city to many. We build platforms for clubs, academy chains, competition organisers and venue networks: player registration, court and pitch booking, fixtures and results, ticketing and fan membership, with mada, STC Bank and Apple Pay at checkout, Nafath where identity must be confirmed, and Arabic as the first language throughout.

Sport has moved to the centre of national planning under Vision 2030. Clubs are opening to private investment, participation targets are rising and international events keep arriving. Operators that want to grow beyond one city need software that works the same way in every region.

Platform features

What a national sports platform has to do well.

A sports app for one venue and a sports platform for a national operator are different products. The national version has to handle many sites under one brand, regional managers with limited permissions, local pricing, different weekly rhythms in different cities and reporting that rolls up to head office. It also has to meet Saudi rules on data, payments and invoicing everywhere it runs.

The features below are the building blocks we combine for operators in the Kingdom. Which ones go into the first release depends on how your business earns today, how many cities you start with and which teams inside your organisation will run the platform day to day. We would rather launch a smaller platform that every region uses than a large one that only head office understands.

Explain your project
  • Multi city venue network

One brand, many sites. Players choose a city, then a venue, sport and time, with prices, opening hours and rules set per location. A membership bought in one city can be honoured in another, and head office decides which products travel and which stay local. New sites inherit the brand, products and payment setup automatically.

Expansion to a new city means adding a site, not building a new app.

  • Regional roles and permissions

Head office, regional managers, venue managers, coaches and desk staff each see what they need and nothing more. A manager in one region cannot change prices in another, and every change is logged with who made it and when.

Control stays with head office while sites run day to day.

  • Nafath verified registration

For competitions with age or eligibility rules, academy enrolment and registrations that require a confirmed identity, Nafath sign in through an approved provider confirms who the user is. Lighter flows such as casual court bookings keep a quick phone number and code sign up. Verification status is stored, so a player confirms once and is recognised at every event.

Eligibility disputes are settled by verified data, not by argument.

  • National competitions

Run qualifying rounds in several cities and finals in one, with team registration, regional groups, fixtures, referees, results, standings and progression rules. Teams and fans follow the whole competition in one place, from the first regional match to the final.

A multi city tournament runs from a single system.

  • Regional calendars and seasons

The Kingdom does not keep one sporting rhythm. Summer heat closes outdoor slots in Riyadh and the Eastern Province while the southern highlands around Abha stay playable, and Ramadan moves activity late into the night everywhere. Head office sets national calendars, and each region adjusts hours, seasonal products and outdoor rules for its own climate.

Each city runs on a timetable that suits its weather and its customers.

  • Academy chain management

Shared curriculum, age groups and assessment frameworks across every branch, with local coaches recording attendance and progress. Head office compares branches on retention and player development, and parents moving between cities can transfer their child without re-registering. Coaches moving between branches keep their history and qualifications.

Consistent coaching standards in every city you operate.

  • Club fan platform

For clubs building a commercial base: member tiers, digital cards, ticketing with QR entry, a match centre, merchandise and loyalty points. Content is published in Arabic and English, and supporter data stays with the club rather than with social networks. Season ticket holders and members see their history across every competition the club enters.

The club owns its relationship with its supporters.

  • Saudi payment methods

mada, Apple Pay, STC Bank and international cards through a gateway licensed under SAMA rules, plus SADAD for invoice based payments where it suits. Refunds, wallet credit, family accounts and corporate billing are handled in one ledger across every site.

Every customer can pay with the method they already use.

  • ZATCA compliant invoicing

Bookings, memberships and tickets produce invoices through your Fatoora e-invoicing setup, whether that sits in your ERP or a dedicated provider. VAT is applied consistently across cities, and finance teams reconcile one system rather than several. Each site's takings are visible separately for local managers.

Tax invoices are right at every site from day one.

  • Head office analytics

Occupancy, revenue, retention, academy growth and fan engagement, compared across cities and venues. Regional trends, such as a city where weekday afternoons sell well or a region where membership churn rises in summer, show up before they become problems. Data can also feed Power BI or your existing reporting tools.

Decisions about new sites are backed by your own data.

Who this suits

Four kinds of national sports operator we build for.

The operators who gain most from a national platform are the ones already feeling the limits of city by city tools: separate booking systems per site, member lists that do not match, and finance teams reconciling by hand. These four profiles cover most of the conversations we have in the Kingdom. Gym and fitness chains are covered on their own page; this one is about clubs, academies, competitions, venues and fans. Some operators fit two at once, such as a club that also runs an academy chain.

01

Clubs opening to investment

The Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project, run by the Ministry of Sport with the National Privatization Center, is bringing private owners into Saudi clubs. New owners usually want clearer data on members, ticket buyers and commercial income. A club platform with membership, ticketing, retail and reporting gives them that visibility and a channel to supporters the club controls. Clubs still under public ownership can start the same way and add commercial features when their structure changes.

We plan the platform with the club's commercial and media teams together.

02

Academy chains growing city by city

An academy brand that started in Riyadh, Jeddah or the Eastern Province and now wants branches in more regions needs one system for curriculum, coaches, enrolment and payments. We build it so a new branch can be set up in the admin platform, staffed and opened for registration without new development work.

Children's data rules are applied the same way in every branch.

03

Competition and event organisers

School championships, corporate leagues, amateur cups and mass participation runs increasingly take place in several cities at once. Organisers need registration with eligibility checks, regional fixtures, results that roll up to national tables, and communication with thousands of participants. A competition platform handles that without a new tool for every event. Sponsors can be shown on fixtures and results, giving organisers something concrete to sell.

04

Venue networks

Padel, football and multi sport operators with sites in several cities want one app, one member account and one ledger. We build the booking platform with per site pricing and rules, central reporting and a structure that lets you open in Abha, Tabuk or Madinah with configuration rather than code. Pricing can reflect local demand without separate apps.

Most venue networks start with three or four sites and expand from there.

How we take a sports platform from plan to national rollout.

  1. 01Discovery with head officeWe meet leadership, finance, operations and regional managers to understand how the business runs in each city, either at our Riyadh office or by video call.
  2. 02Compliance and integrations planPDPL obligations, payment gateway, ZATCA invoicing, Nafath, existing ERP or CRM and any federation reporting are mapped before the scope is fixed.
  3. 03Arabic first design systemA shared set of screens and components, right to left first with English alongside, so every city and every sport looks and behaves consistently.
  4. 04Core platform buildAccounts, sites, roles, payments and reporting are built first, because every later feature depends on them, then sport specific modules on top.
  5. 05Pilot city launchThe platform goes live in one city, usually where you have the most sites, so issues are found and fixed before national rollout.
  6. 06City by city rolloutFurther cities follow in planned waves, each with staff training, data migration from old tools and a short period of close support.

Technology

What we build this with.

Cross platform iOS and Android apps, a web admin platform and cloud hosting, with data residency decided during discovery against the PDPL and any sector rules you follow. Integrations are documented so your own engineers can take over. Hosting scales with match day demand.

Questions national sports operators ask us.

It adds multi site structure, regional roles and national compliance.

A single venue app needs booking, payment and a simple admin view. A national platform needs sites in several cities with their own prices and hours, roles that limit what each region can change, consolidated finance, ZATCA invoicing across every location and reporting for head office. We design that structure first so adding a city later is a configuration task, not a rebuild. The same base also lets you sell a national membership if that becomes part of your offer.
