One warehouse system for every site your company runs across the Kingdom.

Our warehouse management software development Saudi Arabia service is for companies that store goods in more than one region and want every building to run the same way. We build a single platform covering receiving, putaway, bin locations, picking, packing, counting and dispatch, used by scanner on the floor and by dashboard at head office. Sites in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and secondary cities follow one location standard and one set of rules, while each keeps the local settings it genuinely needs.

National networks often grow by acquisition or by opening sites one at a time, each with its own system and habits. The result is stock nobody can compare and reports nobody trusts. A shared platform fixes that without forcing every site into a single rigid template.

Platform capabilities

What a national warehouse platform needs to do well.

The Kingdom's warehouse network is shaped by its geography and its national programmes. The National Transport and Logistics Strategy, led by the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, aims to strengthen links between the Red Sea ports, the Gulf ports and inland hubs. Mawani runs the main seaports, MODON is adding logistics zones inside its industrial cities, and GACA operates the Special Integrated Logistics Zone in Riyadh. For a company with several buildings, that means stock moving between regions by road, rail and air, under rules set by ZATCA, the SFDA and SDAIA. The capabilities below are what we build so a multi site operation stays consistent, compliant and visible from head office.

Explain your project
  • One location standard for every building

Zone, aisle, bay, level and position follow the same naming in every warehouse, whether it is a high bay site in Riyadh or a small cross dock in Tabuk. Staff moving between sites read locations the same way, and head office reports compare like with like across the network.

Every site speaks the same language for stock positions.

  • Network stock and transfer orders

Head office sees available, reserved, held and in transit stock for each site. Transfer orders move goods between regions with a dispatch scan at one end and a receipt scan at the other, so stock on a truck between Dammam and Jeddah is never invisible or counted twice.

Planners can rebalance stock across regions with confidence.

  • Central rules with local settings

Picking logic, hold reasons, count frequencies and approval limits are defined centrally. Each site can then switch on local settings, such as temperature zones in a Jeddah cold store or hazard bays in an Eastern Province building, without branching the code. Changes to a central rule are versioned, so you can see which sites run which version and roll back if a change misbehaves.

Consistency where it matters, flexibility where sites differ.

  • Billing data ready for ZATCA invoicing

Contract logistics groups capture storage, handling and value added services as billable events at every site. Those lines pass to the finance system that issues Fatoora compliant e-invoices, so a national client receives one consistent statement even when its stock sits in three regions.

National clients get accurate, consistent invoices from every site.

  • SFDA aware storage records

Where you store food, medicines, medical devices or cosmetics, the system captures the batch, expiry, temperature and quarantine records your quality team needs for SFDA licensed premises. Each site applies the same controls, which makes national audits far less painful.

Regulated stock is handled the same way in every region.

  • GS1 barcodes and supplier labels

The system reads GS1 barcodes, including batch and expiry encoded in the label, and can print compliant pallet labels for retailers that require them. Supplier compliance reports show which vendors send unlabelled or wrongly labelled goods, so purchasing can address it. Labels from GS1 Saudi Arabia registered suppliers scan first time at any site in the network.

Faster receiving and fewer manual entries at every dock.

  • Rollout kit for new sites

Opening or migrating a site follows a repeatable kit: location import templates, device setup, user roles, training material in Arabic and English, and a go live checklist. Each launch improves the kit for the next one. Acquired businesses can follow the same path, with their old location codes mapped onto the national standard so history is not lost.

New warehouses join the network faster with fewer surprises.

  • Access control and regional audit

Users are granted roles per site and per function, from picker to regional manager. Every adjustment, override and approval is logged with user, time and site. Auditors and internal control teams can review activity across the whole network from one screen. Staff who transfer between regions keep one login, and their permissions change with their posting.

Clear accountability across every building and region.

  • Network performance comparison

Dashboards compare sites on accuracy, dock to stock time, order cycle time and productivity, using the same definitions everywhere. Managers can see which practices make one site perform better and copy them elsewhere. Because definitions are shared, a regional manager in Qassim and one in Madinah argue about results, not about how the numbers were calculated.

Head office manages the network on facts, not anecdotes.

Who this is for

Four national situations we build for.

National warehouse platforms are a bigger commitment than a single site system, so the case for one needs to be clear. It usually is when sites cannot share stock data, when customers or regulators expect the same standard everywhere, or when growth plans add buildings faster than the current tools can absorb. These are four situations that bring Saudi companies to us, each with a different starting point and rollout order.

01

A contract logistics group with sites in several regions

Your clients increasingly want national coverage from one provider, with one portal and one invoice. Today each building runs its own system, and client reporting is assembled by hand. We build a multi client, multi site platform with shared client portals, central billing data and a common location standard, then migrate sites one at a time so clients never lose visibility during the change. Client specific rules, such as minimum shelf life or special packing, are set once and applied at whichever site holds the stock.

National clients often ask for a single portal before anything else.

02

A food or FMCG distributor with regional depots

You run a main distribution centre and depots in other regions, with chilled and ambient stock. Expiry losses and stock imbalances between regions are your biggest costs. We start with batch and expiry control and transfer orders, then add regional replenishment rules so depots draw stock from the hub based on demand, not on phone calls between managers. Head office then sees, region by region, where stock sits too long and where it runs out, and can move it before it expires.

03

A healthcare supplier serving hospitals nationwide

Medicines and medical devices must be traceable by batch from receipt to the hospital ward, and your SFDA licensed sites must follow identical procedures. We design quarantine, release, recall and temperature records with your responsible pharmacist or quality lead, and roll the same controls out to each warehouse. Reports for a national recall cover every site in one search. Hospital customers can be given a portal view of their own stock and orders, which reduces calls to your customer service team.

Quality sign off is built into every release plan.

04

A manufacturer moving from one warehouse to a network

You have outgrown a single plant warehouse and are adding regional stock points to serve customers faster. The current system was never designed for more than one building. We build the platform with multi site support from the start, launch it at the plant first, then add each regional site using the rollout kit, so growth does not mean replacing software again in a few years. Finished goods, raw materials and spare parts can each follow their own rules inside the same platform.

How we take a warehouse platform across the Kingdom.

  1. 01Network discoveryWe review every site's processes, systems and volumes, visiting Riyadh sites in person and meeting other regions by video call, then agree which differences are genuine and which are habit.
  2. 02Standards and data modelLocation naming, product master rules, stock statuses and role definitions are agreed once for the whole network and documented so every site follows the same model.
  3. 03Core platform buildReceiving, putaway, picking, counting, transfers and dashboards are built and tested against real data from at least two sites, so the core works for more than one operation.
  4. 04Lead site launchThe first site goes live with our team supporting closely. Lessons from that launch update the rollout kit, training material and checklist before any other site moves.
  5. 05Regional rolloutRemaining sites follow in an agreed order, each with data import, device setup, training and a go live window chosen to avoid its local peak periods.
  6. 06Network improvementWith every site on one platform, performance comparisons guide the next releases, and new buildings join through the rollout kit rather than a fresh project.

Technology

Questions about national warehouse platforms in Saudi Arabia.

By building ZATCA, SFDA, PDPL and NCA requirements into the design from the start.

Billing data is structured so your finance system can issue ZATCA compliant e-invoices. Food, medicine and medical device storage captures the batch, expiry and temperature records SFDA licensed sites rely on. Personal data such as staff and driver details follows the Personal Data Protection Law supervised by SDAIA, and security controls can be mapped to the NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls. Your compliance and quality teams review each of these areas before release.
