EgoSustainable needed a store that could tell buyers how the clothes are made without slowing the page that sells them.
About the client
EgoSustainable is a clothing label whose whole proposition is how the clothes are made, which is exactly the part most online stores bury.
What they needed
The sustainability story had to sit inside the buying decision. On most stores it lives on an About page nobody reaches, which makes it marketing rather than a reason to buy.
At the same time the store had to be quick. A story told at the cost of a slow product page loses the sale it was meant to win.
What we built
A product page designed around the decision rather than around the template: how the garment is made sits next to material and care, where the doubt actually appears.
The buying controls stay in one place on a phone, where the thumb is, so the story never pushes the size and the basket out of reach.
The catalogue is the team's to run. Products, variants, collections and content go in without a developer, and images are handled so a large photograph does not become a slow page.
How we worked
We wrote the product page content with the client, because only they know which detail about the making is true and which is marketing.
Speed was a requirement from the start rather than an optimisation at the end.
The store, the domain and the payment accounts are in the client's name.
