What we built
A same day delivery store with stock, cut-offs and courier windows in one check.
Platform
eCommerce store with courier and stock integration.

In short

Same day florists live or die on the cut-off. The store now checks real stock and the courier window together before it offers a slot, so nobody can buy a bouquet that cannot physically arrive, and the shop stopped making apology calls at four in the afternoon.

The brief

Same day florists live or die on the cut-off.

The shop was selling bouquets that could not physically arrive: stock said yes, the courier said no, and someone made an apology call at four in the afternoon.

What had to be true

  • Real stock, not catalogue stock

A bouquet can only be offered if the flowers for it are in the shop today.
  • Courier windows that mean something

The delivery slot shown has to be one the courier can still take at that moment.
  • One check before the slot appears

Stock, cut-off and courier capacity agreed before a customer sees a time, not after they pay.
  • A checkout that does not lose the sale

Fast, few fields, with the local payment methods people here actually use.

What we did

We made stock, cut-off and courier agree before the slot is offered.

The store now asks three systems one question and only shows a delivery time all three say yes to.
01

One availability check

Stock levels, the day's cut-off and the courier's remaining capacity are checked together, and the slot list is built from the answer.

No slot is ever shown that cannot be kept.

02

Cut-offs that move with the day

As the afternoon runs down, slots close themselves instead of relying on someone to remember.

The four o'clock apology call is gone.

03

Checkout tuned for the sale

Payment methods people use here, fewer fields, and speed measured on a mid range phone.

A slow store has already lost the order.

What changed

Nobody can buy a bouquet that cannot arrive.

What the shop stopped doing, and what it started doing instead.

Same day

delivery promised only when stock and courier both say yes

Zero

orders accepted for slots the courier cannot take

One check

stock, cut-off and courier answered together before a time is shown
