What we built
A WooCommerce store in English and Arabic with animal, product type and brand filters, a brands page and offers in the header.
Platform
WordPress and WooCommerce, in English and Arabic.

In short

Ghezlan serves horse and camel owners, livestock farms and pet owners from its webstore and its physical store. Buyers know which animal they are treating before they know a brand, so the store asks that first.

The brief

Animal health is bought by the animal, not by the brand.

A stable, a sheep farm and a cat owner all shop the same catalogue. Each needed to reach the right injectables, supplements and treatments without reading through the rest.

What had to be true

  • Shop by animal

Horses, camels, cattle, sheep and goats, and pets, one tap from the homepage.
  • Two languages

English and Arabic, with the Arabic store laid out right to left.
  • Filter three ways

Every category filters by animal, product type and brand.
  • Offers in sight

Fast delivery, the current discount code and the phone number in the header on every page.

What we did

We built the catalogue around the animal.

Animal first, then product type and brand, in both languages.
01

Who are you shopping for today?

The homepage opens with the five animal groups, so a buyer lands in the right range in one tap.

Animal first, brand second.

02

Three filters on every list

Animal, product type and brand filters on each category, across 146 products from injectables and supplements to sprays and shampoos.

One injection found among 64.

03

Arabic, right to left

A full Arabic storefront at ghezlan.ae/ar with its own right to left layout, alongside a brands page for Ceva, GAIN, Poseidon, SALF and the rest of the range.

The same catalogue in both languages.

What changed

A catalogue a buyer can search by animal.

What the live store gives Ghezlan's customers.
