Who we are
This website is run by Codeeo Technologies FZCO ("Codeeo", "we", "us"), registered at Building A1, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Codeeo builds websites, mobile apps, custom software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Odoo systems, and runs digital marketing for companies in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the United States and the United Kingdom.
For the personal data described here, Codeeo is the controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at sales@codeeo.com or +971 58 844 8631.
What we collect
What you give us
- Enquiries, quick starts and team requests: your name, work email, phone number, company, country, what you need, how you found us and anything you write in the message.
- Partner applications: the same details, plus the partner model, products and audience you choose.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, country, the role, your CV, your salary expectation, your notice period, links you share (for example LinkedIn or a portfolio) and what you write about yourself.
- Emails and calls: whatever you send us when you contact us directly.
What we collect automatically
- Visit data: the pages you view, the page that sent you to us, campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source or an ad click identifier), your device type, browser and operating system, and a session identifier that groups the pages of one visit.
- Your IP address and approximate location: the country and city your IP address points to. We do not collect precise location.
- Security signals: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out. It checks signals from your browser and IP address to tell people from bots.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health, religion or biometric data, and we ask you not to include it in messages or CVs.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a scope or proposal, and deliver the work you ask us for.
- To assess partner applications and job applications, and to contact you about them.
- To keep a record of enquiries and clients in our customer relationship system, so the right person follows up.
- To understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site, and to improve the site.
- To measure and improve our advertising on Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Meta.
- To protect the site and our forms from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means alone.
Cookies and similar technologies
We only set analytics and advertising cookies, or store anything in your browser for those purposes, if you choose Accept all in the cookie banner. If you choose Reject non-essential, or make no choice, none of them are used and the site works fully. Your choice is remembered for six months in a cookie named cdo_consent, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Rejecting after accepting removes the cookies listed below.
With your consent, the site uses cookies and similar technologies from these providers:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, to measure visits and how the site is used.
- Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to measure whether our advertising leads to enquiries and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.
- Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Clarity, to measure our Bing advertising and to understand how pages are used.
- Our own visit log, which links the pages of one visit with a session identifier kept in your browser for that visit only.
Without consent, the visit log still records the page, referrer and approximate location described above, but stores nothing in your browser.
These are always on, because the site needs them to work: Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam, a cookie that remembers which edition of the site you are browsing, and the cdo_consent cookie that remembers your choice.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the people and services that need it to do the work described in this policy:
- Our own teams in Dubai, Riyadh and Karachi who handle your enquiry, project or application.
- Zoho, which hosts our customer relationship system, for enquiries and partner applications. Job applications are not sent there.
- Resend, which delivers the emails our forms send to our inbox.
- Cloudflare, for security and spam protection.
- Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Meta, for analytics and advertising measurement as described above.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, which store the website and its content management system.
- Professional advisers and authorities, such as lawyers, auditors or regulators, when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
If Codeeo is ever reorganised, merged or sold, personal data may pass to the new owner under the same protections.
Where your data is processed
Codeeo is based in the United Arab Emirates, and our team works from Dubai, Riyadh and Karachi. Our service providers process data in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. This means your data may be handled outside the United Kingdom.
Where we send personal data from the United Kingdom to a country without UK adequacy regulations, including the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan, we use the safeguards UK law provides, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and partner applications: for as long as we are in contact, and up to three years after our last contact with you.
- Client and contract records: for as long as the law requires us to keep business records, which can be up to five years after the work ends.
- Job applications and CVs: up to twelve months after the role is filled, unless you join us or ask us to delete them sooner.
- Visit data and IP addresses: up to twenty four months.
When we no longer need data, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
How we protect it
Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it, behind individual logins. Data travels over encrypted connections. Our forms reject automated submissions, and we review who has access when people change roles.
Your rights in the United Kingdom
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, we rely on these lawful bases:
- Steps before a contract, and the contract itself: to answer enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver work.
- Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, prevent spam, keep business records and assess partner and job applications.
- Consent: for analytics and advertising cookies, and for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: to keep tax and accounting records.
You have the right to:
- Be told how we use your personal data, which is what this policy does.
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased.
- Restrict how we use your data.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent you have given.
Email sales@codeeo.com to use any of these rights. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we would welcome the chance to put it right first.
Children
The site is for businesses and job seekers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
